IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS AND COMPLICATIONS POST-INJECTIONS, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

– Do not manipulate the treated area for 3 hours following treatment. Do not receive facial/laser treatments after botox for at least 10 days.

– Do not lie down for four hours after your Botox treatment. This will help prevent the Botox from tracking into the orbit of your eye which can cause drooping of your eyelid.

– It can take 2-7 days to see results depending on product selection.

– Do not perform activities involving straining, heavy lifting, or vigorous exercise for 6 hours after treatment. This helps keep the Botox in the injected area and not migrating elsewhere.

What to expect after treatment:

Bruising varies between patients. Usually minimal bruising occurs and resolves within 2-3 days. On occasion, some bruising may be more significant and last 7-10 days.

It is normal to feel a headache or “heaviness” in the injection area for the first few days following treatment. Over time, the area will soften, leaving you with a natural looking result.

Please allow 2 weeks for full effects and at that time, we are happy to do additional touchup if needed.

We strive for the most natural look, and so we aim on the lower end of dosages in order to “learn” your face. It is easy to add more Botox, but we are unable to take it away. Thank you for understanding.
